Complete Edible Oil Filling Line
A DEXIN complete edible oil filling line turns PET preforms into filled, capped, labeled and packed oil bottles: blow molding, filling, capping, inspection, labeling and packing in one connected line. Lines are built around a DEXIN blow molding machine and cover bottles from 0.5 L to 20 L, from 600 BPH on 20 L containers to 12,000 BPH on 2 L bottles.

Overview
An edible oil plant needs more than a filler. Bottles have to be blown, filled to an exact volume or weight, capped, checked, labeled and packed, and every machine has to run at the same speed. A complete line connects these steps so bottles move from preform to carton without manual handling.
DEXIN builds the line around its own energy-saving blow molding machine and supplies the filling, capping, labeling and packing equipment sized to match. You get one layout, one machine list and one point of contact for the whole project.
Retail bottles, 0.5–2 L
Supermarket oil bottles are blown on the S-series high-speed blow molding machine (120 mm pitch, bottles up to 105 mm in diameter), from 6,500 BPH on 1.5 L bottles to 12,000 BPH on 2 L bottles.
Family jugs, 3–5 L
The 5–7 L large-bottle blow molding machines run from 2,400 BPH (L2-5L) to 6,000 BPH (L6-5L) on 5 L bottles. Many 5 L oil jugs carry a handle. Tell us your bottle design: when the handle is fitted after blowing, a handle applicator is added to the line.
Catering containers, 10–20 L
Large containers are blown on the G and GE machines, at 600 to 2,000 BPH depending on the model, and filled on a filler built for large containers.
Different oils
Soybean, sunflower, rapeseed and peanut oil flow easily at room temperature. Palm oil is semi-solid in many climates and needs heated storage tanks and insulated pipes. Tell us which oils you will fill so the filler and piping suit them.
On oil lines the filler can limit line speed, especially on large containers. We confirm the final output for your bottle when we quote.
Line layout
From preform and raw water to a packed pallet
-
Blow molding
A DEXIN blow molding machine blows PET preforms into bottles on site, so you ship and store preforms instead of empty bottles.
-
Air conveyor
Empty bottles travel straight to the filler. Freshly blown bottles stay dry, which matters for oil; an air rinser can be added.
-
Filling
A weighing or flowmeter filler doses each bottle, with drip-free nozzles that keep bottle necks clean.
-
Capping
Screw caps or press-on caps, depending on your bottle design.
-
Inspection
Fill level and cap checks reject faulty bottles from the line automatically.
-
Labeling
Wrap-around or front-and-back labels, matched to your bottle shape.
-
Date coding
An inkjet or laser coder prints the production date and batch number.
-
Packing
Bottles are cartoned or shrink-wrapped, then palletized by hand or by robot.

Capacity options
Choose the line output
| Line output BPH | Reference bottle | Blow molding machine | Line configuration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6,500 | 1.5 L | PET Bottle Blow Molding Machine (0.2–2L) | L6S blow molding machine, 6 cavities, 120 mm pitch for retail oil bottles up to 2 L. |
| 12,000 | 2 L | PET Bottle Blow Molding Machine (0.2–2L) | L8S blow molding machine, 8 cavities, for 2 L bottles up to 105 mm in diameter. |
| 6,000 | 5 L | PET Bottle Blow Molding Machine (2.5–20L) | From 2,400 BPH (L2-5L) to 6,000 BPH (L6-5L) on 5 L oil jugs. |
| 2,000 | 10–20 L | PET Bottle Blow Molding Machine (2.5–20L) | From 600 BPH (L1G) to 2,000 BPH (L3GE) on catering containers up to 20 L. |
Line output is set by the blow molding machine and depends on bottle size, bottle weight and product. Filling, labeling and packing machines are sized to match each line.
Before installation
What you prepare on site
-
Production hall
A clean hall with a level floor. Send us the building size and we draw the line to fit it.
-
Oil storage
Storage tanks and transfer pumps to feed the filler; heated tanks and insulated pipes for palm oil.
-
Power supply
Three-phase power for the whole line. The blow molding machine alone needs 50–120 kW installed power, depending on the model.
-
Compressed air
A 3.4 MPa high-pressure compressor for blowing and a low-pressure supply for the filler and capper.
-
Chilled and cooling water
Chilled water at 10–12 °C for the blow moulds and cooling water at about 30 °C.
-
Preforms, caps, labels and handles
Packaging materials that match your bottle design. Send us the bottle drawing and we help you specify them.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask
Not answered here? An engineer will reply on WhatsApp or email.
What machines are in an edible oil filling line?
A PET blow molding machine, an air conveyor, an oil filler, a capper, fill-level and cap inspection, a labeler, a date coder and a cartoning or shrink-wrapping machine. Oil storage tanks and pumps feed the filler.
Weighing or flowmeter filling: which is better for edible oil?
A weighing filler fills each container by weight and suits large containers from 5 to 20 L. A mass flowmeter filler measures the oil as it flows and suits fast small-bottle lines. Electromagnetic flowmeters do not work with oil, because oil does not conduct electricity.
Can one line fill both 1 L and 5 L bottles?
Small bottles and 5 L jugs are blown on different blow molding machines. Within one machine's range, you change bottle size by changing the mould and the filler settings.
Can the line fill palm oil?
Yes, if the line is planned for it. Palm oil needs heated tanks and insulated pipes so it stays liquid all the way to the filler. Tell us every oil you plan to fill when you ask for a quote.
How are handles fitted to 5 L oil jugs?
It depends on your bottle design. If the handle is fitted after blowing, a handle applicator is added to the line. Send us the bottle drawing and we will confirm the setup.
What information do you need to quote an edible oil line?
Your oil types, bottle sizes or drawings, target output in bottles per hour, the size of your building, and your local voltage and frequency.
